Rev. Within a beaded circle, ‘9 / ḍuriba fī / Qusṭanṭaniyya / 1223’ (‘[RY] 9. Struck in Qustantaniyya. 1223’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘al-sulṭān Maḥmūd Khān ibn al-sulṭān ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd Khān dāma mulkuhū’ (‘Sultan Mahmud Khan son of Sultan ʿAbd al-Hamid Khan.
